1.About Cholera

Cholera is an infection in the small intestinecaused by the bacterium Vibrio cholerae serotype 01and 0139. Clinically, cholera may range from asymp-tomatic colonization to severe diarrhea with massivefluid loss, leading to dehydration, electrolyte distur-bances, and death.
