Intended Use
This kit is intended for the detection of ABO and RhD blood group antigens in clinical settings.
Detection Principle—Solid-Phase Method (Antigen-Antibody Immunoassay)
Sample Types:
Venous Blood: Heparin, Ethylenediaminetetraacetic acid (EDTA), Sodium citrate (ACD and CPD), and Sodium oxalate anticoagulated samples Red Blood Cell
Suspension: Red blood cell suspension diluted with 40% saline
Fingerstick Blood
Sample Preparation
For human venous whole blood with a red blood cell concentration of 40%–50%, mix thoroughly and use immediately. Red blood cell suspensions diluted with 40% saline should be used within 24 hours.
If samples cannot be tested promptly, store at 2–8°C. Testing should generally be completed within 72 hours.
